Microsoft Excel Template
Microsoft Excel Template (.XLT) files provide pre-designed spreadsheet structures—including formatting, formulas, and layout—for creating consistent Excel workbooks. Used in older Excel versions (97-2003), these templates streamline repetitive tasks like budgeting, invoicing, or reporting. Opening an .XLT generates a new workbook based on the template, preserving original settings.
